Dark Shadows
I just came from another movie date with my love. This time we went to see Dark Shadows. Tim Burton is a truly a visionary with his signature dark and quirky sets and characters. He added another classic film to his life's work. After being brought to my attention, I have taken a dive into watching the old TV show of Dark Shadows on Netflix. Dope shit.

Avengers Movie
The Avengers movie was epic! An all star cast, dope special effects and our favorite Marvel characters. I cannot wait until Spidey, the X-Men, Fantastic 4 and the rest of the Marvel characters are all intertwined in a Cinematic Marvel Universe.
I can see the Marvel Universe in Cinema really unfolding into its own story arcs. This can become another interesting portion of comics.

"The image covers up the light & the light covers up God"
The Earth creates the images of life, such as the magma, lava, dirt, trees, ect., that cover up the inner light source/star power energy within the planet's core. Within your core their is the same light source.
It is invisible (visible inward) because it is covered by our flesh. Our flesh that came from the Earth. This inner light source, uncovered and understood, will reveal to you the Creator of All, the Lord of Spirits. To rejoice, while you swim in the Spirit. All One Alone.
All praises due to the Heavens and the Son of Man.

Close To You
Bobby Womack - "Close To You"
(Carpenters Cover with a twist)
First off, this song is way better than the Carpenters version. Hands down. Secondly, this is a great rendition of how artists, with true talent, seem to always have to "sell out" for fame or recognition by the industry. It is a story of an artist coming to the record business with his talents and The Machine forcing him to become "commercial" to sell records. Well Bobby works with the business execs and decides to sing a song that is commercial but in his own style because, like he says, he "has the same heart." The song he chose was a Carpenters song, which is not a bad tune, but the way he freaks it is magical. All in all, this is a wonderful song to cool out to and just vibe. Yet, their is a political message behind the song that speaks about the music industry's, as well as any corporate business endeavor's, thirst for $ and the hardships of artists/creators of the goods. Enjoy, The Last Great Soul Man = Bobby Womack.
