Well my woman and I have been having a lot of date nights to the movies lately, so I thought why not share my thoughts on the films...
- Cabin in the Woods
This movie was odd. It is all about rituals of human sacrifice to the "Ancient Ones."I can see this is a movie explaining occult rituals to the fallen angels, who are referred to as the Ancient Ones in the Necronomicon and other writings. This movie was very disturbing. At the end of the flick, we talked about how all of these rituals are probably real and Hollywood feels the need to be blatant about revealing this to the public (even though most will let it fly over their heads). If you are into conspiracy theories or spiritual teachings over the courses of time, you may enjoy watching the film to read between the lines. However, as entertainment...not cutting it lol. The funniest things are when you look at the cast they will remind you of the Scooby-Doo crew and How it plays a spin on all horror film gimmicks & images.
- Think Like A Man
This movie was funny! The whole theater was laughing. Yet, their were many interesting and serious issues in the movie as well. As a man, I felt like I needed to re-evaluate some things in my life after watching this film. I realized the weight of responsibility a man possesses in relationships & marriages. Men have to be on point, right & exact, to successfully handle a relationship with a woman. That is because a Man has to be on point for himself, right & exact. I will honestly say that I am reconsidering my status in my relationship and if I am truely ready to take on this responsibility. But, I am commited and will take on full responsibility with what I have chosen. A righteous man should not back down from what is right and what is in his heart. So overall, the movie will really have you thinking about relationships and dealing with the opposite sex. At the same time, you will laugh your ass off! Kevin Hart is a fool.
